Rankings are calculated on a rolling 24-month points window. Athletes accumulate points at all sanctioned competitions, with the highest-level events awarding the most points. Only the best 8 results in the window contribute to the total.
World Championships award the maximum points — 1,200 for gold. Continental championships award up to 500 points. National championships up to 350. Regional events up to 200. Points scale is applied uniformly across all divisions.
Rankings are published weekly on Mondays after all results from the preceding weekend's events have been certified by host federations. Disputes can be raised within 14 days of publication.
